1. Give It Your All
"You get out of life what you put into it"
Whatever you choose to do, give it your all. The good things in life are neither free nor easy. Each day, focus on:
- Working hard
- Being creative
- Learning continuously
- Looking for opportunity
- Being resilient
Most importantly, decide what you love about life and pursue it with all your heart and passion. Doing so is the best way to keep moving forward; your success and happiness depend on it.

2. Think The Right Thoughts About Yourself
"You Are Who You Think You Are"
Regular readers know I like to say, “If you can envision it, you can achieve it.” Thus, your thoughts are your most significant resource. However, they can also become limitations.
So, think big and develop a winning mindset. Do not be limited by your thoughts.
If you want to be resilient during adversity, you must think you are resilient. If you want to be rich, think like the rich.
That’s how to open your mind, believe in yourself, and reach your full potential.

3. Take Pride In Who You Are And What You Do
"Take pride in the work you do, for your own sake and not for the applause of others."
Find yourself, be yourself, and never waste a second trying to be someone you are not. You are unique, so make the most of what Mother Nature gave you.
Think big thoughts and achieve your daily goals no matter how big or small.
Finally, and most importantly, take great pride in who you are, what you do, and what you accomplish.

4. Strike A Positive Attitude
"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
Yes. It’s easy to be positive when things are going well. But that’s not what I’m discussing here. Anyone can do that.
I’m talking about being positive when facing obstacles and adversity. It takes intelligence and perseverance to profit from losses or to see and capitalize on the silver lining when the clouds get dark.
Here is one of my favorite quotes to hammer this point home:
“Two men looked out from prison bars; one saw mud, and the other saw the stars.”
So, be positive. Your mental well-being depends on it!

5. Be Kind And Take An Interest In Others
"Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."
Be kind and take a sincere interest in other people.
Talk less, speak low, and listen more. Always make the other person feel important no matter their status in life.
Remember, the golden rule is to do unto others as you would have others do unto you. So a simple hello, please, thank you, and smile go a long way and cost nothing.
6. Give More Than You Take
“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”
My mother used to tell me that you always receive back twice as much as you give. So, listen to my mother and be generous with your time, money, knowledge, and skills. Your return on that investment will be twofold.
7. Be Grateful For What You Have
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
Last but not least is daily goal idea number seven. Be grateful for what you have. Never take for granted what life offers you.
After all, tomorrow isn’t promised for you or me. So count your blessings and remember this motivational quote:
“I had the blues because I had no shoes until, on the street, I met a man who had no feet.”
Okay. That’s all seven daily goals and nine motivational quotes for emphasis.
Please allow me to close with some parting thoughts.
