Let’s discuss how to attract luck and money. First, I don’t believe that luck is the primary means to attract wealth and good fortune.
Honestly, the thought that it does contradicts almost everything I believe in.
Mostly, I do not think an individual’s wealth and good fortune is due to luck. But others disagree with me.
Warren Buffett attributes much of his success and wealth to luck.
In contrast, I have always believed that you make your breaks. You make your luck by working smart and working hard because the law of attraction works to turn luck to your side.
How To Attract Luck and Money – Okay, You Need A Little Luck
I think luck plays a role in attracting money in a couple of areas.
Good Health Attracts Wealth
The first one is good health.
You must have your health to build wealth. And some of us are predisposed to better health than others.
Your Family Environment Is Based On Luck
Furthermore, one’s family environment also plays a role.
There is that old saying that you can pick your seat, you can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your family. The good fortune of being born into a reasonably stable family environment is an essential factor.
Capitalism
And finally, being brought into the world in a developed economy that promotes capitalism is essential.
Unlike capitalism, socialism is where the community (government) controls the means of production. That isn’t the right environment to attract wealth and good fortune with money.
Where Luck Falls Short When Trying To Attract Money And Good Fortune
So those three areas are where luck plays a role. But, if luck in those three areas were all you needed, wouldn’t most people have a financial abundance?
Millions of people have good health, come from stable families, and live in a society that supports capitalism. Yet, all I read and hear is that most people do not have enough money saved for retirement.
So, I still believe you make your luck. And that blind luck has little to do with attracting wealth and good fortune. Let’s take action and attract wealth and good fortune right now.
Here are 24 good luck tips for money using the law of attraction.
How To Attract Luck and Money – Your Mindset
Attracting wealth and good fortune all starts between your ears. So, let’s set the right mental state to attract money.
1. You Must Believe That Wealth Is Good To Build Your Fortune
Think about wealth and money in a good light. Sometimes, people with money are demonized by politicians and the media.
Most people who have wealth and good fortune are hardworking, upstanding people. There is nothing wrong with having money. So don’t think that way.
2. Wealth and Good Fortune Comes To Those Who Think Positively
Have a positive outlook to attract money. Look at the bright side of things. Don’t dwell on the negative. Practice positive self-talk when it comes to money.
By being positive, you will attract better people to associate with. Those better people will help you on your journey to wealth and good fortune.
3. Be Grateful For What You Have
When I get down about something, I think about this phrase:
“I had the blues because I had no shoes; until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet.”
Thus, be happy and grateful for what you have. And do not dwell on what you don’t have.
4. Good Fortune Comes To Those Who Are Humble
When you make it with money, I know you will be humble about it.
Being so is a critical element of attracting good luck with money.
I’m going to pick on sales professionals now. If you are in sales, don’t get mad at me because you are the engine that drives business, but, I want to relate this brief story.
I had a co-worker who had a funny saying about sales professionals. When it came to money, he would say that sales pros “brag about making it and brag about spending it.”
I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand being around people like that. And, of course, it’s not just salespeople who do it.
So, be humble!
5. Practice Patience
There is an old saying that “patience is a virtue.” This saying gets challenged nowadays with smartphones and a 24/7 work mindset.
But when it comes to attracting wealth, good fortune, and money. Having patience is critical. The average age of newly minted millionaires is 49.
6. Think Long Term
Patience comes in handy as it relates to long-term thinking. So, avoid short-sighted decisions.
Think long-term about your current job, career, where you live, and the people you surround yourself with.
And start thinking long-term at an early age. To start amassing wealth as a young adult.
7. Think In Terms Of Income Not Debt
First, focus your thoughts on how to make more money.
To do so, ask yourself and think about these questions…
Can you get a raise from your current employer?
How can you position yourself for a promotion?
Can you start a side hustle?
Are your savings and investments earning the most that they can?
Second, turn your thoughts away from debt.
Outside of a home mortgage, an auto loan, and student debt, never think about debt to finance any other purchases. The only thought about debt that you should have is how to pay off existing debt faster.

8. Visualize It – Imagine You Are Rich
Think big. Don’t be limited by your thinking.
What will your life look like when you attract wealth and good fortune?
9. Stop Worrying
I’m a bit of a worry wort. And it is not a good habit.
Based on my experiences, worrying has no value. Instead of worrying, take physical action.
So, let’s talk about what actions to take next.
How To Attract Luck and Money – Feng Shui
Feng shui is a Chinese metaphysical philosophy that brings harmony to an environment.
Good feng shui can bring wealth and good fortune if you strive for it. It gives you the necessary support to seek your goals about money.
Feng shui also helps suggest different methods to create a productive environment. For example, your home and office environment can strengthen you to attract the feng shui energies of prosperity and wealth.
Here are three feng shui tips for money luck.
10. Clear Clutter From Your Home
Keep your home free of clutter. Be neat and organized.
A little minimalism in your home goes a long way when it comes to money.
11. Prepare Your Money Area
Have a dedicated space where you think about your money and investments. This is typically a home office.
I’ve had a desk and home office space since my early 20s. At that time, I was living in a studio apartment.
It has always been a place where I keep all my financial documents, computer, personal finance books, and investment newsletters.
12. Create a Good Chi Flow
According to feng shui, a good chi flow brings upward-moving energy with spaciousness, comfort, and a calming rhythm.
For example, make sure hallways are clear of clutter and objects. Put pleasant images on your walls.
To me, good flow and well-laid-out spaces create inner peace. Inner peace helps me to be patient and think long-term.
My wife and I recently got some tips on furnishing and rearranging our living room. It has made a big difference. It’s a calming space to spend time.
Positive spaces and places will help you with the mental aspects of attracting wealth and good fortune we have already discussed.
How To Attract Luck and Money – Take Action
We have taken care of our Chinese philosophy lesson with Feng Shui. They are some excellent lessons for how to attract luck.
Next, let’s look at a few other physical actions we can all take for having money.
And most importantly, for attracting wealth and good fortune.
13. Face The Facts
Get your financial facts together. What is your net worth? How much money do you spend, and where do you spend it?
Do you have investments? Then, what are they? And are they suitable investments for your stage in life?
So, spend some time getting familiar with your personal finances. Do this activity in your feng shui money area.
14. Spend In Alignment With Your Values
Decide what you value in life. Is it travel, a beautiful home, delicious food, or live entertainment?
I don’t know what it is for you. And what you value may change over time.
But whatever it is, spend money on what you value. And cut out spending in other areas of your life.
15. Share What You Have
Don’t forget to give back or donate to charities if that is important to you.
I’m not big on giving away money. At least not yet. But some people swear by it regarding their wealth and good fortune.
As my mother used to say…
“You get back twice as much in return as you give.”
And my mother was always right. At least that’s what she told me!
16. Be A Minimalist
Minimize your belongings to only what you need and use. Be minimal with your finances by streamlining and simplifying them.
It is contradictory in some ways, but I like to say “minimize your finances to maximize your money”.
17. Free Yourself From Material Vanity
Buy what you need and want. But don’t consume just because others are doing so.
18. Act Upbeat Even When You’re Not
We already talked about the power of positive thinking. As it relates to attracting wealth and good fortune.
But sometimes, we can’t help being a little down.
When that happens, act upbeat. Stand up tall. Put a smile on your face and act like you are the happiest person on the planet.
Often, our thoughts will follow our actions, and our mood will brighten.
19. Focus
What do you want to be good at when making money?
I am going to exaggerate a bit here. But, if you have two jobs, four side hustles, and are going to school part-time. Well, you probably aren’t focused.
So, choose 1 or 2 things to be good at.
Those things should be what and where you believe you can make money, mainly over the long term.
20. Work Your Tail Off To Attract Wealth And Good Fortune
Now that we are focused, it’s time for the hard work of building wealth.
This one did pretty well for me. I was never, ever the most intelligent guy in the room. But I almost always was the hardest working.
And it’s not just about working long hours. It’s about working smart too.
Thus, work on the right things and do those things the right way. Then wealth and good fortune will start to find you.
21. Invest Money In Self-Improvement
Investing in continuous development is almost always a good place for your money. Be it books, classes, certifications, or on-the-job training.
Make sure your self-investment aligns with your 1 or 2 money-making focus areas.
22. Take Smart Risks
You probably won’t attract wealth by putting your money in a low-interest savings account or staying in the wrong job for too long.
Some of your money belongs in risky assets like stock market investments.
And sometimes you need to change jobs to make more money. There is always a risk that these activities won’t work out.
So take some calculated risks with your money-making endeavors and investments.
23. Put Yourself “Out There”
We all, to some degree, fear failure and rejection. But you can’t insulate yourself from those things.
Because failure and rejection come with taking calculated risks. So, if you want to know how to get good luck…
Don’t fear failure. Embrace it. I like this saying, “when one door closes, another one will open”. I think it’s very true.
24. Reward Yourself
Identify and celebrate the little successes along the way.
I’m not so good at this one. I set a goal and worked hard to accomplish it. But I tend to move on to the next thing when I do.
Even if you are like me in this regard, occasionally sit back and reflect on your accomplishments.

Wow, this is great stuff. The over-arching thing I would add is learn, learn and learn. Learn from different people and different perspectives about money and use the ones that work best in your life.
Continuous learning is really important. Thanks, SMM. I find the more I know, the more I realize how much more there is to learn. If that makes sense? Tom
Hi Tom,
Good advice; I constantly need to remind myself to worry less. I also like the Feng Shui tips.
Cheers,
Miguel
Hi Miguel. Yeah. Worry is a killer. I need to do better in that area myself. Tom
Great tips! Clearing clutter is so important. I have had a desk since my 20’s too. I don’t know how people can manage without a printer at home and a desk. These days people just carry their laptops everywhere and don’t use a desk, but I like having a place for all my tax documents and other financial stuff.
Oh for sure GyM. I don’t know what I would do without a home office space. Tom
These are some superb recommendations…some based on biblical principles. Actually worry undermines faith and ties God’s hand. One should strive to apply these strategies based upon prudence and sound judgment.
Hi Joseph. Thank you for your perspective. I did not have the bible in mind when I wrote it, but I can see the tie into one’s faith now that you bring it to my attention. Tom
Thanks, having my husband read!
Hi Laynee, I’m sure your husband is wealthy and successful in his own ways! But, it never hurts to get a different perspective. Tom

You like telling about the book “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. So thanks Tom for sharing in this article.
Hi. Yes. Both of those books have very powerful messages. Thanks for bringing them up! Tom
